Welcome+ Community Program
As part of our purpose to Reimagine Urban Life, Mirvac’s Welcome+ Community program has been designed to engage and support residents living in the Pavilions community. The program identifies activities and events that are tailored to the unique needs and interests of residents, as well as providing opportunities to connect with fellow neighbours. Find out more about our past and upcoming events below.
Christmas Carols
As part of Mirvac’s Summer Festival, residents were treated to a beautiful performance of traditional and modern Christmas carols in the outdoor courtyard to kick off the festive season. The idyllic weather allowed for some to relax on the grassed areas or listen from the comfort of their balcony. It was wonderful to see our residents enjoy the singing and music with their families.
Christmas Craft Workshops
Adults and kids participated in a series of Christmas craft workshops in the residents’ only community room, where they learnt how to make their own Christmas cards, tree decorations and bon-bons. Residents had the chance to meet one another as they created their festive keepsakes to put on their trees or give to family and friends.
Australia Day BBQ
As part of Mirvac’s national Summer Festival, on Monday January 25 residents gathered in the outdoor courtyard for a traditional sausage sizzle to celebrate Australia Day. The large, open area provided much-needed shade from the heat and allowed for residents to sit and relax on the grassed areas whilst catching up with their neighbours.
Sunday Session
As part of Mirvac’s national Summer Festival, The Graduates vocalist and bass duo were invited to perform in the courtyard on the afternoon of Sunday January 31. Residents were invited to listen to the smooth sounds of jazz for an hour from their balconies or in the outdoor space with their families.
